What do you want to weigh? My kitchen scales, are very good and quite funky with a glass pan/table.
They are by Salter, which is avery reliable brand. You can change from Imperial to metric units. there's a Tare facility, which is useful for weighing in containers. the seem to weigh to the nearest gram.
Salter is an old reliable brand for all kinds of scales, personal, scientific and kitchen. DDepends on what you want. All the bells and whistles or just a simple bit of information.
Best price is probably from a branch of John Lewis.
Customer helplines that use recorded menus that promise to put me through to the right person but never do - and being ill. Oh, and did I mention customer helplines :)
I just had a look on eBay and searched for 'Bathroom Scales' and there is a mind boggling amount of scales there with prices from around £5 to £50 . Loads of decent looking digital scales for pretty reasonable prices too.
