It also counts calories. It's an experiment for now so if I don't lose weight,  I will then reduce carbs to 40gm. I also wanted to let u know that it CAN be controlled.  My mother was a fine example. She was diagnosed at age 40 and lived to 83.  People asked her what her secret to good health is + also the fact she looked younger.</p></blockquote><p></p>
