Type 1 Schools

A friends junior school child is type 1 ,when at school her sugar level was at 20mmls . And they did not inform the parents or do anything about this, they just sat the child outside the office for about 2hours until the end of school, then the parents were informed, my opinion is that schools should be more aware of a diabetic children,and someone on the staff should have some idea of what to do under these dangerous conditions, this could have been fatal.

That is shocking and unacceptable. Please make an appointment to see the head teacher or deputy head to discuss what happened. and the potential danger your child could of been in.
