Yes, do as @Squire Fulwood suggests. It really isn't rocket science.
Lol bluetit, I have just tried a few times and just keep getting the sign to put in the test stripYes, do as @Squire Fulwood suggests. It really isn't rocket science.
@ally1 Press the button for three seconds and it goes into strip standby mode. Press the button again for three seconds.I was intreged so I got out the booklet and did what it said, to press the on off button for 3 seconds. All that happened was to indicate to enter a test strip. I did this on a few occasions, and not once did it show anything apart from being ready to enter a test strip to test

Thank you for helping me. I hang my head in shame, I read the booklet and was even more confused, I can never read instructions and follow what they mean. Eventually I worked it out. I realised that once I pressed the monitor on as if to test, then I tried pressing again for 3 seconds and hey presto it worked. Before I was pressing the button for 3 seconds before the monitor was switched and could not understand why I was getting nowhere. I have managed to change the date and time. I did, t go any further because I would have been even more confused
Only read it when I absolutely have to.Like me, I'm sure @Squire Fulwood as another guy can "occaisionaly" guilty of not reading the owner's manual....
