I am going sailing for two weeks. I have T2 diabetes more or less controlled by 2 Metformin a day. What will happens if I am too seasick to eat for a couple of days? (I will take medication but I know by experience that I am likely to get very seasick at some point)

Hello there. If Metformin is your only diabetes medication, you should be fine, if seasick.

I'm very fortnate to be an enthusiastic sailor who has never been seasick, and only felt queasy once, but I was down below, rummaging deep in the freezer. I was fine as soon as I got my head up again.

Enjoy your sailing. Are you day sailing, passage making, flotilla sailing, or just making it up as you go along?
