Well done on reducing your weight and blood sugar levels in only 8 weeks @Cranfield.I was diagnosed Type 2 8 weeks ago and saw the Diabetes Nurse 6 weeks ago, when my numbers were 63-7.9%-10 .
I saw her today and in 8 weeks I have lost 18 lbs by cutting down on fruit and carbs generally, my numbers today are 52-6.9% and she didn't know what the "10" from last time was, which is strange, as she gave it to me then.
Does anyone know what the "10" was and what would be its current number ?
I think it may be another way of expressing one of the other results.
I consider these new numbers to be good news , but don't intend to get complacent.
She is going to chase up the retinal exam I haven't yet had and also arrange for me to have a half day education course.
As my next appointment with her is in 6 months, that might be handy.
The second link works fine. Maybe the first link didn't work because the very last letter in the url is not highlighted red which suggests it wasn't incorporated into the link?@Quirkybee I don't know why the link didn't work. Try this:
www.diabetes.co.uk/hba1c-to-blood-sugar-level-converter.html
If that doesn't work type Blood Sugar Level Converter into Search box at top right hand and you should find it.
It did work when I previewed it before posting. I don't know why the l was missing. I tried editing it and adding the l which again worked when I previewed it, but not when it was posted. The second link works fine. Maybe the first link didn't work because the very last letter in the url is not highlighted red which suggests it wasn't incorporated into the link?
