There have been one or two posts recently about people scared with foot injuries. typically their doctors and Nurses are blase about them.
Diabetics can self refer to a podiatry department.
I would say NEVER ignore a foot injury, so SEE A PODIATRIST.
find their number from your district hospital website and phone them. They don't take foot injuries lightly.
in addition keep your BG TIGHT. IGNORE any rubbish you read about the ACCORD study saying tight control is harmful. If it were, non-diabetics wouold have these problems. they DON'T.
