Hello, I am a University Professor. My blood glucose levels first increased in December 2008 (FPG 130) and (PP 225). Glipizide was prescribed and I took it once aday 30 minutes before breakfast for a week. Soon after my Blood Glucose Levels dropped to dangerous levels (45). I was advised to stop the medicine immediately that I did so. Till last week, all my blood glucose levels remained normal including HbA1C. While I was taking my eveing tea on last Wednesday 24-10-2012 I had head reeling for a few seconds . The following day I tested for Blood Glucose Levels and the FPG was 113 and PP was 190. I have head reeling even while I am typing this mail. Today my FPG was 106 and PPwas 220. I do not have any feeling for frequent Urination nor felt over thirsty. I do not go to loo at night. I do not feel tierd either. The only symptom I have is slight haed reeling and incresed PP blood sugar. I await advise from you.Regards

I'm sorry that you are feeling unwell . It doesn't sound pleasant.
This is a forum for people with diabetes, we aren't doctors and nor could a doctor diagnose over the internet.
Your post prandial levels of 220mg/dl ( that's 12mmol/ in the Uk) are high but if I had a level of 220mg/dl I wouldn't feel as bad as you obviously do. You should really see your own doctor and explain the symptoms to him/her.
