Seeking help to explain these results

Recently had my 1st HbA1c and just received the patients copy of the results. Can anybody explain what the rest of the results are for and what the acceptable limits are. Nothing was mentioned at my consultation, so I assume nothing to worry about however I wouldn't like to self educate myself as this is obviously a for life condition.

Any help would be appreciated.

I can't help with normal ranges, but creatinine and eGFR (glomerular filtration rate) are both measures of kidney function, and urine ACR means the albumin:creatinine ratio is another one that tends to be looked at specifically in diabetics. Having eGFR >90, which is the only one I know particularly anything about, is good, means your kidneys are working fine.

Edited to add that urine ACR should be below 3, so yours is excellent :)
 
58 means that you have an Hba1C in line with the old NICE target, but a bit above the new one, which is 48. 48 is the level at which the relative risk of complications is considered to be the same as that of a non-diabetic.
 
According to my notes:
Serum creatinine should be 46 to 92 (kidney function)
eGFR over 90 (kidney function)
Urine ACR under 2.3 (kidney function)

So it seems your kidneys are in excellent shape!
