That's interesting that they say you can't get SSP because on diabetes org... It says, and i quote: "Current government guidance is that employees of all ages with diabetes, including those under 70, should be strongly advised – and supported by employers – to stay at home and work from there if possible. And those people with diabetes who follow advice to stay at home and who cannot work as a result will be able to get statutory sick pay (SSP), even if they are not sick." Also, I phoned NHS 111 for the past 2 days and was told to self isolate for 12 weeks as I am a type 1 and I work in retail inside a hospital. I also travel to and from work 3 hours a day via buses. I'm now trying to get some sort of note to give to my employer so I can recieve SSP as they mentioned HR would probably need it but it seems impossible to get a hold of anything :/ I don't mind working but it's so risky where I work and I'd rather not get ill... No matter how cautious i am, it's useless if no one else follows it.
