The score it returned for me was extremely consistent. I "calibrated" by doing a self test, at the same time as the hospital lab work, and the home test scored 0.2% higher than the lab test. I did the same with my next lab test and the difference was exactly the same 0.2%.
I used to do one once a month, but I'm a bit anal at times. There is a pack with fewer tests, but I'm not sure if this supplier does them, but you could google the product and see what comes up. As some of the cost will always bein the meter that comes with it, it will be disproportionately expensive for a couple of tests, versus the 10.
