Sensor libre 2

Hi I have been using sensor libre 2 for a couple of months now but I’ve noticed that the alarm will go off saying I’m low blood sugar but then start going back up even if I eat or drink nothing to raise sugar levels. It also keeps going off in the middle of the night and when I check it again 10 mins later it goes back up even though I have not ate or drank anything. Yesterday I had some jellies and it went off saying too low but I knew I wasn’t, so I checked my bloods and that said 8.2 . Not sure why it keeps doing this. It can’t be a false sensor because it happens all the time. Even though the sensors are great I’m not trusting them so not sure whether I should keep using. Any advice would be great

I have read that the night time low alarm could be because you are lying on it, “ compression low”.

Hi,

I’m not sure where you site your sensors. Could be a “compression low” from lying on it. (If on the outside or back of arm?)

I place mine opposite side inside the arm. For me the site choice works well & it sorted the potential for compression false alarms.

I moved my sensor to inside arm to see if that made a difference I was woke up twice in the middle of the night fist time I just left it checked levels again was going back up. Second time I done a finger prick test and it said 7.5 yet my libre was saying 3.5. I almost feel like giving up on sensor as I just don’t trust them. I am also fed up of the alarm going off saying I’m having a low.

I put my sensors very high on my arm (close to the shoulder) and find I don't actually lean on it.
I also find it less likely to get nudge on a door frame
