Has anyone any experiance with a drug called Sertraline . I have been on this drug for 5 years iam comming off it and am having severe mood swings and feeling dizzy. Has any one else used this drug aif my symptoms are normal mike

Has your doctor advised you how to come off this drug ? It takes a few weeks to wean yourself off it successfully.

hi,
sertraline/zoloft ,is an anti depressant and does cause side effects when withdrawing in most people, does your dr know u are coming off them? what did they advise you?
in my and others past experience i would suggest cutting down slowly, if your tablets dont come in smaller doses then ask your gp about the liquid version as then you could withdraw more slowly, i did this with a different anti depressant and it stopped withdrawel symptoms,
plz speak to your gp for their advise

I was on sertraline for about 6 -12 months and came off it about 3 months ago due to the side effects. The tablets were great for a while and I felt much better. Then I started getting dizzy spells and felt sick. So I went 'cold turkey' and stopped taking them. Found out that the dizzy spells were also meniere's disease!! Can't win!! :?
