Set Change Places

I’ve had a new set change experience.
A change was a last hope when corrections weren’t affecting high sugars.
The venue? A cafe overlooking a Parisian Canal. The proprietor suggested the toilet, which was down a winding stair, dark, below canal level. And a toilet!
He said ok, if the toilet wasn’t the right place then yes, I could do it at an indoor table. (Lots of interesting stuff going on outdoors: dogs, punters, close set tables . . .)
Luckily, I wasn’t wearing a dress. Even I wouldn’t have been happy lifting my dress under a table to do a set change.
The reason for the Paris weekend trip? My daughter’s present to me for my seventy-seventh birthday.
So if any of you need a set change when you’re out and about, take it from this old biddy that it’s ok to do it anywhere if there’s somewhere to put the gear and you’re not wearing a dress.
Oh yes, nearly forgot, after the change my sugars began to behave well again.

i always do it under the table, even in a dress. Really quick, don’t make a big thing of it and no one’s ever noticed

I work with all men so doing set changes even in some weird and wonderful places doesn’t phase me, if people don’t like it then they are the issue not me

A set change?
I have never come across the expression and guess it refers to a pump and not your teeth?
The thought of a set of teeth made me giggle a bit!
I'm old fashioned and still use a pen and as i'm a bloke i simply lift my shirt slightly and off i go.

I guess I’m less keen to show my knickers than some; the tables didn’t have cloths on. If they had, lifting a dress to get to my stomach wouldn’t have bothered me.

i was in california and a friend even said to me Can you go to the washroom to do your shot I was so surprised as it had never happened in England where i am from. I did got to washroom but it was spacious and clean Thankfully !!

I really wouldn’t want to do anything needlessly related in a washroom. Even tho it may look clean, I’m told that the aerosols set off by water and anything else falling on water can hang in the air and settle invisibly on surfaces.
