I was on Lantus for 4 years, my husband would say we had virtually no sex life-prob cause my health was so bad while I was on it. I'm 39, been on synthetic insulins for over 19 years, and am pretty sure the change of insulin has improved my sex life (with my husband of course!) Prob not feeling deathly, exhausted, constantly hungry helps, just wish I'd felt like this years ago. My advice would be get off Lantus, it's NOT insulin, and switch to purified animal insulin. Contact the IDDT for advice- they've got a great website, and will advise you better than I can. Of course your probelems may be nothing to do with Lantus, but it's obviously on your mind so trust your instinct. I wish I had, would have saved me 4 years of misery and hell. Jus
