- The Way The World Is Headed....
I know that one of the symptoms of a hypo is shaking or trembling, but does anyone else here get the shakes when their good sugar is within normal range? I have started noticing unusual shakes and ticks, like involuntary jerks in my head and neck area.
I asked my doctor if this could be caused by my medication (Metformin, Sitagliptin - tablets and Apidra and Humulin I - bolus and basal insulin). But she assured me that it wasn't and didn't seem to think that any of the symptoms matched the side effects of the meds I'm taking.
She didn't seem very interested however, until I started getting shoulder problems. Then she got me scanned (waiting for the results).
But the head jerking has continued, and although it's not noticeable enough for people to comment, it's worrying me.
