Now funny enough, I just come back from a gig just outside Cheddar.. There was a Cider shack next door to the venue?
My wife came back with a flagon of "Farm yard" while I was setting up. I'm home now & on it! Proper dry scrump... Gert lush...! :D

@Jaylee do you play at the gig and if so what instrument?

A little treat now and then

Do you still cycle?

well my thruppence worth - I cant ride a pushbike - never had one as a kid, never learnt at school. I am too old and I cant be bothered learning now. I'll stick to walking, takes me a lot longer to heave my bulk up and down the hills we live on but I get there .... eventually

Oh and I cant ride one of those exercise bikes either, I fall off :meh:

I'm a singer in a metal band that covers cheesy pop tunes, giving them a harder edge.. Lol, (Think Iron Maiden playing Let it go from Frozen? Or Rage against the machine doing Lady ga ga?) it's a laugh!

The "treat" went down well. ;) & I woke with a decent FBG of 5.5.. So I can't moan about the morning effect my "R&R excess" once I'd got the keys out of the ignition last night....

Cycle? Lol, not any more.. My last cycling experience was a few years back while I still had my bike? Remember those old Raleigh Bombers? A sort of 80s BMX early moutain bike hybrid. They had a realy nice chrome frame under the plasticoat style paint work. (I bought it when I left school & started work, having an old racer prior.)
I'd pulled it off the rack in my garage "for old times sake," gave it a once over. Then noticed the puncture & buckled back wheel....

...... Then thought, "insert expletive It! I'll open the sunroof & take the car..." :D

Your band sounds fun @Jaylee

I had a Raleigh Wayfarer bike
I wanted a Chopper as a kid but got the wayfarer and looking back was probably more sensible

Decent reading for you good blood sugars

I did buy myself a new bike when I bought one for my son when he was younger and that would be the last time I rode a bike except for excercise bike at Gym

Pub I used to work in served cider called Swamp Donkey coming in over 12% & tasted like a swamp too.

I used to have a lovely burgundy Raleigh Cameo. Can't remember what happened to it

Anyone know what the moderator is banging on about?
courteous behaviour means polite, respectful, or considerate in manner. So bassically saying it's a requirement on forum

Anyone know what the moderator is banging on about?

With my mod hat on, & the music still ringing in my ears from last night...

Aretha pretty much sums up the self restraint, compassion & understanding.

As for bicycles. I last had one when I was 13. Thought I was so cool. Cycled the 3 miles to school, saved the bus fare to spend on clothes. Then I injured my knee, and couldn't use the bike for a few months. My Dad, took over the bicycle for his commute to work. Don't know what he spent the bus fare on. I later discovered that the walk to and from school was the best part of the school day. Meeting friends, flirting with the boys from the school down the road. Still saved the bus fare.

We should be stricter on everything in this country

Sentences are a joke

Agree especially when some self entitled teen used an illegal bike bike with no front brakes knocks over a woman & kills her, then uses social media to say it's her fault. Gets 18 months under some obscure Victorian law as current laws not up to date to charge him with manslaughter. I'd have locked him up & thrown the key away
