Some people will understand, some people may even appreciate the gesture, and some folks may be disgusted or have jokes at my expense, but if I can share my story online and influence even one person’s life and health in a positive way; I’ll take that as my way of contributing and paying it forward. I am not a wordsmith by any means, but I took a stab at writing a blog to highlight my battles with obesity and diabetes and outlined some of the things I did to turn my life and health around.

I also want to warn folks up front, the second page is untouched photos of my current physical condition to illustrate what losing over 165 pounds can look like (well for me anyways illustrating my current body weight and physical state). So visit that page at your own discretion but you've been forewarned.

Incredible story, loved reading it and well done.

Just amazing .... simply amazing.

Shows you what one can do. Credit to you

You've done fantastically well, and you're looking great!

(And you might want to delete the / from the end of the links, they don't work as they are )

The links worked perfectly for me.

Thank you for sharing your work in progress. Truly inspiring stuff. Well done Jimmy, you have saved your own life and hopefully will inspire others ibn a similar situation.

How strange! When I click on either link I get a message saying that "Something Went Wrong" It works if I copy the link into browser and knock off the / at the end
Sorry Jimmy, seems it's only me having problems

I get that too, but under the message is a button to press to continue to the link.

What an inspiration you are, not only have you saved your own life you have quite possibly saved someone else's as well who reads your blog and decides to take their own weight issues in hand. You have no need to warn people about your photos, to have lost so much weight and not have loose saggy skin flapping around in the breeze is testament to your hard work in the gym. I see the results of large weight loss in my job all the time with people coming in for cosmetic surgery to remove excess skin, believe me you have so much to be proud of and are now reaping the rewards of all that time and effort. Your wife is also to be congratulated as well as I have no doubt she has been your rock when times were rough. I really hope your next blood results reflect your success.

Yes that worked @jimmymac6996, thanks and i'm so pleased that it did, as it's been a real pleasure reading your successful weight loss story or should that be life change story, because that's what you've done isn't it.......completely turned your life around and i'm so happy for you and your family.
