hi
I recently started a new job which involves working mornings, afternoons and nights , and I am finding it difficult to control my diabetes since. any advice would be great.
I am type 2 on insulin and tablets, thanks

Night shift will ****** you up for life, the only advise is get blackout blinds, sleep mask, ear plugs and if need be sleeping tablets. Don't go to bed straight away, stay up for at least an hour but get 8 your sleep in the day. Try to eat in morning, when you get up, then a light snack at work, don't eat a heavy meal during the night or worse graze all night, if you can get out at night for fresh air do it.
I would be asking if I could not do the night shift, due to your health. Oh hot drink water with a squeeze of lemon rather than tea or coffee, if you drink coffee now try and give it up, it is a false energy high.
