This has gradually got worse and now I have it in both shins, going from my ankle all the way up to my knee. It hurts a lot when i walk and the pain is like a dull ache when i sit down.My husband thinks it may be shin splints, but i don't run or exercise <img src="data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7" class="smilie smilie--sprite smilie--sprite10" alt=":oops:" title="Oops!    :oops:" loading="lazy" data-shortname=":oops:" /> and my weight is probably a bit low for my height as my BMI is 17 but I wondered if it could be the start of diabetic neuropathy? Can you get it this early on in your diagnosis?</blockquote>
