Hi guys,
Hoping you can help with this as a google search hasn't turned up anything. Since diagnosis I've been experiencing shivering sensations about 5 minutes after lying down. It's not shivering exactly as I don't get goose bumps or shake - it's just the shivering sensation all over. Lasts a few minutes and then stops. Doesn't happen every time I lie down but frequently at night and occasionally lying on the sofa.
Unsure whether I'm type 1 or 2 yet, blood sugars are good and I don't eat before going to bed. On a fairly low carb, almost vegan diet, active and of normal weight, normal blood pressure etc.
Any ideas what the shivering is all about? Should I mention it to my GP?
