Milk can be quite carby though, I use soya milk which has very few carbs (make sure it is unsweetened) for coffee i do half and half with double cream.. yum..Thanks for the reply. I keep thinking of all the things I can eat & enjoy which I have denied myself for so long! I can't even remember what full fat yogurt tastes like!! Rather than thinking of what I can't have - that seems to work quite well for me.
I am going to go shopping and get some stuff in for starting lcfh diet - no time like the present! Please can you have a look and check that I am on the right lines!
Avocado, cauli, broc, onion, toms, olives, cabbage, aubergine, mushrooms, asparagus, spinach cucumber, courgette, lettuce, berries, leeks, peppers
Cream, cheese (goats, feta), full fat yog, full fat milk, butter, mayo (know I need to check sugar - is hellmans full fat OK?)
Meat, fish (is smoked fish OK too?), coconut milk, eggs, pesto, nuts (I am guessing NOT roasted and salted?), pesto.
Some of the meal ideas that I have thought of...
omelette, bacon and egg, greek salad, goats cheese salad, steak and creamed spinach, berries and yog or cream, quiche with a ham crust, courgette with pesto or bolognaise (home made), kebabs, lamb kofta, mussaka (with aubergine layers and no potato), stuffed peppers, peanut butter on cucumber, cauli mash, smoked marcel, chicken with cheese and bacon....

Your list looks delicious and very much along the right lines. My only comment would be not to go too mad to start with, as there a lot on that list and will you get through it all whilst it is at its best?
Thanks guys. Going get enough for 2 days & take it from there. Will post my food in the tread about that. I'm so nervous! I feel like I'm being 'bad'. I've been brain washed for too long!!!
