My son and I are heading for Birmingham on Friday, his hospital appointment isn't until Monday but because of the distances involved and Flybe timetables it means we have the weekend to kill.
My question is, were can a 16 y/o Goth do some retail therapy? He's been saving like mad and would love to come home with some unusual stuff and he deserves some treats cos these appointments are hard work.

This isn't my area of expertise but I know my friends daughter who is 19 makes special trips to Birmingham for all things goth, I think there is a shopping centre there that is for alternative shopping called the oasis centre or something similar, I am sure resident brummies will be able to give you more info or try googling goth shopping in Birmingham.

Enjoy you weekend with your son - even though it's for an hospital app it's still nice for you to spend time together :)

Yes! Go to Oasis. As a bit of an alternative kinda person, I love it there! I'm sure you can google the address.
