Short Term Rental of CGM devices?

I do not have diabetes
Hi all,
One of my loved ones is suffering from what might be the effects of something insulin related but not diabetes. The doctors have been less than helpful sadly, not taking her seriously but it's obvious to me that something is going on and we really want to understand what! My approach would be to gather data about the blood sugar levels over a period of time, and then we'd have something empirical to work with to test our current hypothesis. However, CGM devices seem reeeeeally expensive still so I was wondering if anyone know of anyone providing short term rentals of devices?

The problem with CGM rental is the sensors are single use and these are the most expensive part. Therefore, there is not much point in renting a CGM.
If you are looking for something to analyse after the fact (rather than buzz when her BG is too high or too low) the cheapest option is probably the Libre.
Unfortunately, unless the person purchasing the Libre has been diagnosed with diabetes, you will have to pay VAT.

In the US one has to be taking multiple insulin injections or have a pump to get a CGM.

You can buy a freestyle libre sensor for £57 and read it with an android app, librelink, but the phone has to have an nfc aerial.

If he/she is not diabetic then why do you think it is Insulin related?
