Should I be taking vitamins pills while on the LCHF diet?

I've noticed my skin is dyer than usual, not sure if it's the diet I'm on or the metformin?
Should I be taking vitamin pills, if so what is it that I need?

Also, is it ok to drink Beetroot juice as a type 2 diabetic?
 
If you eat a healthy and varied LCHF diet with plenty of veggies there should be no real need to take supplements - unless you are actually deficient in a particular mineral or vitamin. If you feel you are lacking in something then you should really consult your doctor for advice/tests.

I've never noticed my skin becoming any drier since I've been on either metfomin or on LCHF, but it's certainly happened as I've got older... :(
