I've been diagnosed T2 since December 2006. I've lsot weight, got my bs count down, bg down and amazingly my cholestrold own. Things I was told to do. So why am i so exhausted all the time? I'm also freezing cold 90% of the time too and have to wear bed socks and an old fleece in bed. With a 13.5 tog duvet and knitted woollen blanket on my bed it's seems a bit much. I've had blood tests for my diabetes mot a couple of weeks ago and for thyroid problems too. Waiting for mot appointment to arrive before I get results. Any suggestions/ideas folks? Help!!

Could the cold be a problem with circulation? I'd ask the dr to check that out. When was you last hba1c and what was it?

Hi gillyh,
Could not possibly diagnose, not expert enough.
Exhaustion and feeling cold could be a number of things like anaemia, underactive thyroid. Waiting for the results when you are feeling ill is no joke. If you are not sure when the results will be through then ring your surgery and ask. Hope it all gets sorted soon.
Regards, Catherine.
