Hi All,
I could be being over sensitive here but just has some very strange results.
First off my meal contained more carbs than normal, around 45 to 50 grams of carbs… Normally my meals contain less than 30grams.
Anyway after:
1 hour it was 9.3mmol
I checked again after washing my hand with hot water and soap 2 mins later and it was at:
1hours 2 mins it was 10.8mmol.
I was in shock; I have never been in double figures before.
So I checked again at:
1 hour 45 mins it was 4.9mmol
Then I checked again at
2 hours and it was 5.1mmol.
I do plan check at 3 hours as well.
So my question is what is going on???
Have I have 2 consecutive fault strips / reading? I have checked my meter with control solution and its working normally..
Or is this just how a diabetic person works, as I have read that non-diabetics to spike ect.
Any ideas, as I like to keep my control very tight, to the point of were I like to be under 6.5mmol 1 hour after eating and under 5.8 mmol 2 hours after meating.
Cheers
