I’m running both apps on my iphone
I start the libre on LibreLink, after the 60 minutes start up & when libres working I delete LibreLink & connect the sensor to shuggar, usually takes a couple of tries, then reinstall LibreLink & scan sensor to get it going again
I’ve been doing this since July, I’ve also set up shuggar alarms & readings are sent to my garmin watch every 5 minutes
Hope this helps

so if i get it right, you are using shuggah while getting info also into libreview? @DEBBIESCOTT ?
i mean.... i need readings for insurance, to show it thru doctor in libre view, but shuggah is best notification system for me

Hello, first time I’ve asked a question here and it may be it doesn’t belong to this thread so I apologise if it doesn’t feel relevant.
I moved from Dexcom onto Freestyle Libre 2 working with the Omnipod five. It’s been two weeks and my device constantly tells me that no information is being received from the sensor. I have to keep switching from automated onto manual to prevent going high. Omnipod tell me that I need to turn Bluetooth off on all devices near me because Bluetooth interrupts the signal and causes the lack of notification.
While I am able to manage my devices without Bluetooth It doesn’t feel okay that . I have to keep asking people in the vicinity if they have Bluetooth turned on and I feel like a social pariah. Does anyone else experience these difficulties with Freestyle? Omnipod tell me that I need to keep the pods very close to the sensor so I’m only able to use my tummy to put pods on at the moment. With Decom it was fine to use a leg when a sensor was on the arm as long as it was “in the line of sight “
this new system just doesn’t feel sustainable or manageable in any way, I’m super stressed being woken at night with alarms telling me that there have been no notifications for four hours and I need to tap OK on my device!
Any help or advice would be gratefully received, thank you

Hi,

What device are you using to read/pick up BT from the Libre?

Hi KatyMarianne

I look forward to reading the responses to your post. I am in a similar position to yourself. I have recently changed to FSL2+ in preparation for moving to Omnipod 5. I am finding I get a lot of sensor error rescan in 10 mins. I am wondering how this is going to affect things when I move Omnipod 5 and closed loop. I was told I could place both pod and sensor on the same arm, not sure how this will work.

On another note I am conscious we could be derailing this thread and wonder if a separate thread would be useful ?

The wait 10 minutes message from what I can gather is when the sensor readings are so erratic that it needs a little time to chop sense into a reading or the direction arrow?
But I can appreciate the annoyance..
I’ve found with the libre 2 it’s picked back up sooner than the 10.

Thanks for your reply. I would agree the message comes when readings are erratic. Unfortunately it can take quite some time to provide reading, enough to cause gaps in the graph if that makes sense.

Yes it can cause a short gap.
You cold try NFC scanning to “back fill” it? ( the last 8 hours?)
But to be fair, that don’t always work if the data is too scrambled?

Would you be please so kind and write step by step tutorial?
im using shuggah as prime, bcs of notifications and alarms and kinda use to this.

My activation process is
1) activate sensor via librelink
with turned of bluetooth on librelink
2) open shuggah and activate bluetooth connection to shuggah and work asi main sensor checker
i can use librelink only as secondary "check glucose device"

-------------------
if i get it right you are using shuggah and librelink, to see info in libreview, so please write step by step how to....i need to have my glucose information in libreview, i dont have to use libre link if its not possible or something.
thank you

Sorry;to interject.

If using Android. Have you tried either clearing the Bluetooth cache once in a while or the partition?
Same sort of thing. But connecting to the PC on the latter & going into a root set up with the phone on a startup?

Hi
I start the sensor on libre as normal, when the 60 minutes are up & I get a reading I delete libre then go to shuggah & delete the old sensor & start the new one (takes a couple of times to connect) once I get a reading I go back to the App Store & reload libre (allow libre to use Bluetooth but keep alarms turned off)
I then go to settings & turn the Bluetooth off to my phone, wait a minute or two & turn in back on
Libre usually takes a couple of minutes to get a reading back, if it loses signal just turn the Bluetooth off & on again
Hope this helps
Good luck
I’m on iPhone 14

Forgot to mention if you’ve got a smartwatch connected to your phone you’ll get readings on that automatically (I’ve got a garmin 6s pro)
You can play around with settings in shuggah

Hi @DEBBIESCOTT,

Sorry to revive this thread again, I’ve followed the steps you’ve provided and all works perfectly, thank you so much!

I just wanted to ask you (anyone else please feel free to answer too!), do I have to have both the Libre app & Shuggah app running in the background, ie, I can’t close either of them down? Just wondering if this is the case, does it drain the phones battery quite quick?

Thanks,
Rachel x

I just flick my of the app (suppose it’s running in the background) only tap back on them to log food, exercise or if I do a finger prick
Usually just plug phone & watch in to charge when eating breakfast for about 15 minutes
Worth it as I get notifications to my watch so I always know where I am
