it's normally just bolus, if you have an illness that's going to hang around for a while, they say you can also bump up your basal a bit as well, check with your nurse

I followed it for over 2days and although my readings where still a little on the high side it help bring the under 10 and woke thus morning with a 7.2 that's the quickest I've ever got back in control after an spell of I'll health.
I don't know why we are not give this info when Diagnosed instead of a little leaflet.
