Takes me off Metformin, and I tell him about the weight loss I have had since going low carb. So what does he do?  Increases the Glimepiride from 2mg per day to 3mg per day. Then tells me "you might want to be careful with this, it may cause you to PUT WEIGHT ON. F.F.S. what is the point? I'm trying to lose weight in the hope that I may beat this, and then the vet does this to me. What the hell is the point in trying? All I seem to be doing is fighting the bloody vets all the time. I may as well give up with the chemicals altogether.</p></blockquote><p></p>
