I kept records of what I ate, when I ate it and what my levels were before and 2.5 hours after eating. I also recorded when I took my Gliclazide and how ineffective it was on its own. This info and my progress made it easy to convince my doctor. It all depend son how high your levels are and whether or not you can sustain an appropriate diet/approach. Many Type 2s don't rely on meds to keep their blood sugar in check. It is...your choice..and the more informed you are, the easier that choice is. Good luck,</p></blockquote><p></p>
