I have recently had Januvia sitagliptin added to my meds. for type 2. I have been taking metformin, aspirin and exanatide for many years.
My mouth is now constantly very dry and the front of my tongue is very uncomfortable all the time.
It feels as if the tip of my tongue is burnt. Has anyone else had similar?
 
Apart from side effects, you could be having a thrush infection in your mouth. Thrush is very common when your blood sugars have been running too high.
Of course it could be side effects as well, I have no experience with your medication.
