Does Sinus Infection affects blood sugar levels and if so what can i do to avoid high sugar levels with sinus infection?

Any infection can affect your blood sugar @pp123

How high are your sugars?

When i exercise and take my insul regularly my blood sugar is about 6-9 mmol/L but when i eat something my blood sugar goes to 14-15 mmol/L

Sometimes when you're ill you need a little more insulin for your meals. Can you speak to your doctor and ask whether you need to change your insulin doses temporarily while you have this infection?

Do you know how to do correction doses?

Are you sure it's the infection not just a carb counting mistake?

Maybe can be both

Maybe can be both

Yes, it could be.

Keep testing and see how it goes. Drinking water will help you stay hydrated. Steam inhalations can help clear sinuses.

If your blood sugar stays high, do speak to a doctor for advice.

I hope you feel better soon
