Was the forum down last. I couldn't, t even get the front page from 8.30 klast night until this morning and when I got here this morning, it showed I was already logged

Hi, yes it was down again last night, but I tried after 10 pm and got nothing, I couldn't get on here until now.

Me too. Left a message on facebook for a few people.
Glad it's sorted out now.
 
I had access problems at one point last night, but I was going to bed anyway, so don't know how long it lasted.
Fine this morning.
 
@Administrator I have a different issue with the site. I broke my 'Pooter and am replacing it. I have tried logging in from it to this forum, but it is not recognising my password, which I have not changed since first login. I wrote it down faithfully, and it does not accept it. Is it because I am logging in from 2 different compooters at the same time?
 

I have the forum on a pinned tab in my browser, and use two laptops (depending on where I am, and what I'm doing), and also sometimes log in from the browser on my iPad, as I'm not a great app fan, and that's never been an issue for me.

I know you have tagged Admin already, but I'll tag @Giverny , as I think this is definitely her bag.
 
Success!!!! It would not let me reset from the new PC, and did not recognise my passwords even when I typed into the reset box very carefully (PW do not match). However, changed it from my broken computer, and then immediately logged in on the new one, and it accepted it. I am replying to myself using the new 'Pooter

As the GP says (if you are lucky)...... RESOLVED

Just tagging @Administrator and @Giverny to this, to ensure no action taken by them.

Thanks for the heads up on the login issue @Oldvatr - not sure why it wouldn't accept your original password though!

As for the site's downtime last night, we're unable to determine the exact cause but it seems to be fixed now. Seems the old 'turn it off and on again' works quite well
