  • I created 2 accounts as I entered the wrong birth year when I created my first account. The Moderators said they will delete my second account. I have tried replying asking if they could delete my 1st account but when I try to send the message it says it is inappropriate.I have changed the message, and my message does not contain any inappropriate language. I would be grateful to receive some guidance.@Administrator

Thanks for the warm welcome. I'm a CDCES and nurse practitioner who is failing retirement ;) I'm looking forward to learning from all of you re: living with your "constant companion" (DM) and offering help as is appropriate. Being slow at taking up the social media banner, this is the first forum I've joined. Take care.
Hi there, UK T1D. I have been MDI since diagnosis approx.32 yrs ago. I have, in the past, been offered a pump by DSN but didn’t want tubed one. Now the compact and discrete Omnipod 5 and Omnipod Dash are on the scene.
Are they funded or do you need to self fund?

Hi @drawbridge35, it seems you have posted your question on admins profile page rather than in the open forum, it won’t be seen by many members here and possibly only by admin who may not reply, it may be best if you start a thread on the forum where members can see it and help you :)
Hi, just joined and you kindly offered me the free diet plan books to download but I am gluten, dairy and egg free so don't think any of your meal plan diets will be of use to me? I have to substitute ingredients in my cooking already as my husband eats normally which can be quite tiring after prepping for up to an hour for some recipes.

Has a post of mine been removed? I cant find it anymore and it was quite lengthy. I didnt swear or post links so not sure why it would be removed as I was asking for advice @Administrator

    Hello and welcome @Kayley22 .
It's not uncommon for posts by new members to be held back by the forum software for checking by a human. While a lot of spam gets caught that way, it can also cause delays in the appearance of perfectly innocent posts. I can confirm that all of your posts are now visible. Kind Regards EllieM from the moderator team.

Hi Admin. I am a parent of a recently diagnosed (T1) daughter who just amazes us by how well she is doing. She has started to live her life again and it's great to see after the initial shock last year. I'm not doing quite so well!!

Heya try posting on the forum as few will see your post here, easier to find other parents too, kids are adaptable they cope better than we do worry about the future, they tend to live in the present which makes it easier for them to bounce back and cope with it, there is some amazing tech now which makes life much easier

Hello. For the last 2 years my GP has said I am borderline diabetic which confuses me. Over the last 6months I have suffered with occasional blurred vision, my toe nail went back and fell off. If I get a wound it takes months to heal. I told this to a health care professional and they said I need to get a second opinion on my so called borderline diabetes. What should I do. I am so confused
