Skechers Shoes

I have been looking at the different ranges they do and would like some advice before going any further. As my walking and the way i walk are very bad, i am very limited to what footwear i can wear and feel comfortable in. When i go out i can only wear trainers, which then have to be a certain branded type and style. Indoors i wear slip on slippers which have to quite a tight fit.. Now the summer is approaaching i would like to find something else to wear other then trainers all the time. Ideally i would like to find something that are light, comfortable, slip ons that are reasonably tight and don't slip on/off when walking. Has anyone got/had any of these shoes that can advise me about them as they are quite expensive and would like to find out abit more about them before i buy. Thanks in advance
 
I have had them in the past and were good,i had a couple of pair of pump types, i also have to be careful too and only really wear ugg boots,im in the same position as i would like to wear something other than boots in decent weather so have just bought some ugg shoes in a sale
 
I love my Skechers slip ons and Skechers tie ups. Unless actually working one of them are on my feet all the time. They are so light, totally washable and more importantly so **** comfortable. Mt podiatrist prefers me to wear the tie ups rather than the slip ons as they are better for feet in general. I can wear them with or without socks and they always fit superbly.

My husband wears his the same as me (different colours though-not his n hers!!-lol). He loves his too. The only downside is that if you come in from a wet pavement on to laminate or tiled flooring that you can see sort of sucker marks across the floor, which you don't get with normal shoes. I would rather have comfy soft gorgeous shoes that I can wear anywhere than worry about sucker marks that wash off....

5 stars for Skechers for me.

I absolutely love Skechers. They are the only kind of shoes I've worn for about 3 years now. I mostly wear the Mary Jane styles, though. They are so comfortable, even when I walk for many miles. They are comfortable on my very bad feet, and hold up well in most weather.
 
I love my Skechers they are worn out but I keep wearing them. Have you tried sports direct as they do them at a fraction of the cost

Thank you for all your replies. I've decided to bite the bullet and buy as pair. One quick question, I've read loads of reviews about them, all good, but there were quite a few people saying that the sizing wasn't very good and they needed a size smaller. In your opinion, how did you find the sizing?

My feet are a 6 and thats what I buy. Hubby is a 9 and thats what he gets. They are great as I'm sat here with them on and no socks and yet I cango out with thick socks too and yet they always fitno matter what.

For comfort I swear by Birkenstock slip on sandles, the are shaped to your feet and come in 2 widths. I have never had one slip off even when I have driven in them, and they are adjustable. I wear the style which has 2 bars, one by the toes and the other near the ankle, I think the style name is Arizona. You can get them through Amazon or google them. I have arthritis in some of my foot joints and also find it difficult to find footwear that is comfy and can't wear my Uggs through the Summer!

Skechers sizings are american, thats why they are a bit larger than UK ones.
