Can Dermatitus be a result of diabetes,i have never had Dermatitus but my GP thinks that is what i have. Spots all over my body,mainly my legs,they grow larger and are very dry and itchy
 
It is possible. Higher sugars can allow various infections to become more common, including things like thrush. A dermatitis just means "inflammation in the skin" - causes can be numerous. Also, and forgive if too personal, but are you overweight and have skin folds etc?

I am about a stone overweight,am 13stone 8 so dont think the issue is my weight,i do find that i itch all over and often bleed when i scratch,it may be that which has caused the infection but am not certain. It may be that you are right in what you say,my GP has given me anti biotics and anticeptic cream,the rash is improving but is still spreading
 
You have my sympathy! Look at things such as the laundry washing powders/liquids you use, and possibly your soap or shower gels as they may be the culprits. I got a very bad case of dermatitis on my hands years ago (and pre diabetes) from using Persil biological laundry powder, and they ended up red raw from irritation and scratching. Since then I've found that other things can occasionally set it off again, although I make sure I always use non-bio/sensitive skin products now.

Any form of Persil is bad for me, a total body rash within minutes of wearing Persil laundered clothes.
