Hi everyone I'm new here so I'll introduce myself my name is Vix I've had T1D for 20 years and I'm 27 from the uk. I'm wondering if anyone else has strange circular marks anywhere on their legs and what they could be I've had one on my shin now for a few years and a smaller one has appeared above it. I've asked doctors and showed specialists but no one seems to take any notice I've been given cream to treat ringworm but I'm sure it's not that. It has stages where it gets itchy and sore and then the mark grows bigger it's not nice to look at but I'm more worried it could be something serious I've been having treatments recently for retinopathy and macular oedema so I know 20 years of diabetes is taking its toll and I feel lucky to still have a fully functioning body still!! Thanks for reading xxxx

I second the advice to see a dermatologist if you're still unhappy. If you've been using cream for ringworm, you'd imagine that would have worked and it would have gone.

There are some other skin conditions connected with diabetes, so a referral may be helpful, and could put your mind at rest if nothing else.
