Sleep problems

Hi fairly new to this t2 and been on metformin for 5 weeks now. And im having real problems sleeping i dont sleep for more than 3 to 4 hours and then toss and turn all night. Seems to have coincided with taking the meds. Anyone have any idea if this is possible?

Hi there, I had terrible problems sleeping just after I was diagnosed. It can be anxiety related. I have upped my exercise levels and try to keep calm before I turn in and I am pleased to report that I am sleeping better. Good luck!
