started slimming world 3 weeks ago was on novamix 30 ,30 in morning and 24 in evening have lost 12lb since then. after 1st week noticed dramatic results in blood sugars dropping from an average of 10 down to around 4 had to make appointment with my diabetic nurse who dropped dose to 15 morning and 12 evening,happy days back a week later dropped to 10 morning none in evening,went back yesterday and have been completely taken of my insulin and will get a blood test in 4 weeks to see how everything is going.been type 2 for 8 years

I tried following SW green plan a few years ago but only managed to lose a few pounds.

love this one but use egg noodles
This Thai one-pan noodle dish is ready in around 20 minutes. When fast food tastes this good, who needs a takeaway?
ingredients
method
- 2 garlic cloves, peeled and crushed
- 4cm piece root ginger, peeled and finely grated
- 1-2 red chillies, deseeded and finely chopped
- 6 spring onions, cut into 2.5cm lengths
- 75ml vegetable stock
- 3 tbsp dark soy sauce
- ¼ tsp sweetener (optional)
- 2 carrots, peeled and cut into fine matchsticks
- 200g mangetout, thinly sliced
- 250g bean sprouts
- 250g dried flat medium rice noodles
- 1 egg,lightly beaten
- Put the garlic, ginger, red chillies, spring onions, stock, soy sauce and sweetener (if using) in a large frying pan sprayed with low calorie cooking spray and place over a medium heat. Heat gently for 4-5 minutes.
- Turn the heat to high and add the vegetables. Stir-fry for 4-5 minutes, until the vegetables are just tender.
- Prepare the noodles according to the packet instructions, drain and add to the vegetable mixture in the frying pan over a high heat. Drizzle over the beaten egg, mix well and cook for 1-2 minutes, until the egg is just cooked through.
- Serve straight away with a wedge of lime for extra zing!
