- over selling.... oh so many things are enthusiastically oversold
For me this is tried and tested for many years now. - I’ve simplified it over that time as for me it has to be straight forward as life can be anything butLooks and sounds tasty and easy, and easily adjusted as well if you happen to have some other veggies laying about and needing used up!
Hiyah! Yeah, we’re into the 4th hour. I was wandering if the extra fish-hour was to impart any fish flavour? Maybe not. Chorizo, dill are chopped. Fish has been cut up into various sizes.Sounds good but I'd hold back adding the fish until the last 5 minutes or so.

At present the Ragu-ish sauce is delicious.
I’ve been using frozen fish. If it’s fresh it needs less time. Maybe just 10-15 mins
Sure. Fresh fish here. And gently turning over, and yes, needed to add a dash of water. The sauce is seriously delicious. When it’s cooked it breaks up easily with a wooden spoon !
I call this a “chowder.”.
4 sticks celery
2 medium onion fine chopped
1kg (approx ) tomatoes
Pkt dill ( or dried )
2 lemons
Chorizo ; optional
Around 500 grams fish
Honestly delicious and for me no worry about spikes
: chop veg into slow cooker for around 4 hours. - it matures into a delicious blend - add a little water if it’s too thick.
Add fish. I now use salmon( wild salmon from Iceland £11 per pack ) but a mix is ok too
Add cherizo sausage and pepper and salt
Add dill
Another hour passes
Just before serving add juice from 2 lemons
Tinned tomatoes can be used but imho fresh is best
If that. Would think salmon after an hour has disintegratedI’ve been using frozen fish. If it’s fresh it needs less time. Maybe just 10-15 mins
OMG! So many layers of flavour. Two large bowls and we're gonna freeze the balance. Great midweek meals.
Thanks @OrsonKartt!
