Small Blisters

I have small blisters in clusters on my legs and when I touch them the tops come off and they weep and then crust over. Are these the start of diabetic ulcers?

I've had something similar to this on the soles of my feet. Are they small, (<1/8"/3mm) and with no skin discolouration/no redness?

I went to my doctor and was told it was a form of Psoriasis, and was given steroid cream for it. The steroid cream dried it right up, and the affected skin just came off over the course of a couple of days.

I agree with Sue and best get these looked at by your gp.

Definitely a consequence of diabetes, these were one of the many signs which persuaded me to pester my doctor into taking my raised blood sugar seriously.Related problems include hair dropping off legs in patches (!) and small dark pigmented marks on my legs.

I now have betnovate (a steroid cream) on prescription which will slowly control and reverse all these condition.

In response to youngmanfrank's post - these may be related to your diabetes, or they may not. As others have said only your doctor will be able to tell you. Just get them checked out.
