Hey Type 1 people. I'm newly diagnosed (about 6 months) and I'm just wondering how do people carry their supplies when going out to a restaurant or somewhere. All the bits are obviously too big to carry in my wallet, and all the carry cases for sale online are too big to fit in your pocket. Anybody have any tips?

I spent months looking for the right sized bag. I have a small green canvas satchel that has 3 pockets. I hate having to have it but hey ho. My daughter’s school friend took the mickey out of my handbag the other day. He’s 6.
I carry my bolus and basal pens in a Novorapid case I got free with my half unit pen and that keeps them protected, I carry about 10 needles in another pocket and my meter and strips and empty strip tub for used strips in another hard case that came with my verio one touch. I also keep glucose tablets in the front pocket and my wallet fits in the main pocket too.
When I’m outdoors hiking I carry it all in a 30l rucksack with a waterproof and provisions.
