SmartWatch without phone

Hey all,

I have an Apple Watch which I would love to be able to use as a glucose monitor without my iphone and am currently using the Dexcom G6.
I am not finding it possible to do so, I have bumped into some forums talking about XDrip, I still don’t understand what that is either.
Is it possible to do this and what is Xdrip?

You still need a phone to run xdrip, look up the Nightscout Fundation for more details.

You cannot run an Apple Watch with Dexcom without a phone in between. Its waiting for either updated Dexcom sw or maybe the G7.

If you have a t:slim pump then you can read BG off the pump and do not need the Phone.
