smelly wind on Victoza

Hi I have been taking Victoza for nearly 2 weeks and am suffering terribly from smelly wind from both ends, when I burp it smells like a sewer and is starting to get really embarressing. Can anyone help me and tell me that it goes away in time or that there is something I can do to stop it. I am also getting a horrible tummy where it feels like it is full of bubbles which is getting quite uncomfortable. The trouble is that it seems to be working so would like to stay on it but can't if this smelly wind continues. :oops:
 
I think you should ask your doctor about it, as it could be a sign of a problem, or an unavoidable side effect. I'm not familiar with Victoza, but could there be an alternative you could try? It sounds like a very unpleasant and distressing symptom, I hope you find an answer soon.
