So confused hba1c low

Hiya

I'm so confused so is my nurse lol

I'm on insulin novo rapid with my breakfast at 15 units then the same in the evening and levemir 13 units

My hba1c was 89 it's now down to 31
My doc said I should be having lots of Hypos which I'm not when I test I'm between 5.4 to 8.9 lowest reading has been 4.7

So now my doc say my hba1c is to low!!!!!! Great they said they may stop me on the insulin but my sugars will go up again?

So what are other people hba1c ? Can any one help me with what I should be doing don't think my nurse or doc has a clue :shock:

If you're not having hypos and haven't lost your hypo awareness, then carry on with the good work :thumbup:
 
That's slap in the middle of the range for a non diabetic
Normal HBA1C range is 20-42 so 31 is perfect

As said if you haven't lost hypo awareness then keep it up

mine have ranged from 30-35 since my transplant the last one a week ago was 33
