There are a couple of blog posts that I have read recently that might be an interesting read for some of you who haven't seen the weight loss they expected on LCHF.
They are written by a nutritionist in New Zealand (I'm a New Zealander) called Mikki Williden. She's well very well regarded, she eats LCHF herself.

thank you @fionaclare these are interesting and lucid articles.
She seems to have a very common sense approach and I particularly like the way part 1 is kept fairly simple and part 2 contains the more in depth specific stuff.

Yes, she is very good and has a great scientific research based background and lives what she preaches too.
Seeing a nutritional therapist was one of the best things I did. With her we have worked on the micro aspects of my diet (getting enough of the right type of fat for me and upping my mineral intake). Has made a big difference to my energy levels.
I too suspected nuts and cheese.
Since reducing nuts I started losing. Too much cheese and other fatty protein slows down my digestion.
No nuts or only 5 nuts (handful) isn't enough fiber for me. So looking into swollen tummy currently.
Might resort to a fiber additive to food.
Feeling more confident these days as to HOW to lose weight.
