If we could all learn in the absence of experience, we'd never need driving instructors.went out earlier and had a mcdonalds and milkshake.....bad craving
just checked blood and it was 12.9
i knew it was a bad choice but i still ate it
guess ill learn the hard way
that is very trueIf we could all learn in the absence of experience, we'd never need driving instructors.
I believe the University of Life is the best you can attend.
So I'm giving you a ... pat on the back. After all I've been known to buy a 5-pack of doughnuts and demolish them.
And McDonalds' milkshakes used to be my favourite. Sometimes being matureand responsible sucks, but mostly it doesn't.

Didn't she mean more like this ?Here you go... i side order of slap with your fries.
i allways seem to learn the hard wayFeeling lousy, thirsty, urinating all day and night, and seeing those high levels on your meter will all help enormously and hopefully stop you in your tracks next time.
By the way, you can have MacDonalds burgers - just ask for salad instead of the bun and fries.
Learning the hard way is, without doubt, the best way .. who wants to read blurb on a forum all the timei allways seem to learn the hard way
i think next time i want burgers ill treat my self to some nice ones and big mushrooms instead of the roll and salad....ive had that before and it was so good
great idea the food diary ive just started one and noted itI think we've all done something like that at one time or another - I know I have. It takes something like that to show you exactly how well the low carb way of eating works. Just note it down in your food diary with the BG reading and how you felt after - and next time you feel like doing it (and there will be a next time) just flick to that page.
I used to LOVE McDonald's banana milkshakes but I've found a good extremely low carb subtitute - ice cold Alpro Roasted Almond Unsweetened Milk with no added sugar banana flavour Crusha - okay its got sweeteners in but it really hits the spot when you want a milkshake.
i allwas assumed alpro was soyaAlpro process various different nuts, it isn't all soya.
i might give it a go....thanks@licklemoose - No its almond milk - no soya. If you can get it the roasted almond one tastes better than the unroasted.
