Finally, someone understands what I go through on a shift. After 8 years of ignorance, I have found an individual in management who understands what it is like to live with diabetes! I support this individual 100%. He is in a difficult situation, so I stand with him. This is my first level of promoting awareness. It begins here.

And may it long continue .. excellent news ..

Really pleased, he deserves a medal from what I hear of some management these days.

Edit: Sudden thought just entered my head, doesn't happen often. We often see how actors and musicians like to acknowledge each other's achievements. I could be quite rude but it's fair to say I never see so much cronyism as I do at certain award ceremonies.

How about a national award scheme for management who do the right thing and consider the things that those in a different position have to put up with. I've not mentioned anything in particular like diabetes, MS, ME, mobility issues, but maybe I should single out diabetes because it's what concerns us and in many ways is unique. Maybe one of the organisations might take it on board.

Just a twinkle of a thought.

Back on topic. Excellent, hang on to that one.
