Just found out our son has sensorineural hearing loss at 21 and needs hearing aids. 
I’ve read somewhere that having a type 1 mum may be a factor? The consultant thinks it’s hereditary maybe too. I’ve been diabetic nearly 45 years. This really is the gift that keeps giving. Has my one else heard of this? X
